Gas taxes and vehicle registration fees will not be going up in Michigan to pay for road repairs.  State Senate Majority Leader Randy Richardville yesterday killed off Governor Snyder's proposal. Now it appears a two-percent increase in Michigan's sales tax could take the place of Snyder's idea to raise the one-point-two-billion dollars needed.
