Riding high from selling more than 161,000 downloads of their new single, “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)," Fall Out Boy has moved up the release date of their first album in five years, Save Rock and Roll .  Instead of coming out May 7, it'll now be available on April 16.

“So when we got this all rolling we didn't expect it to be so crazy,” said bassist Pete Wentz in a statement.  “But we weren't kidding when we said we had the album done -- so why wait?  It means the world to us the way you have welcomed us back.”

In other FOB news, fans tuning in to TNT on Saturday night can catch the band performing “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)" as part of the festivities surrounding the 62nd annual NBA All-Star Game in Houston, Texas.
