American flags will fly at half staff Thursday to honor Sergeant Mark Schoonhoven. The 38-year-old Michigan Soldier died last month at Brooke Army Medical Center in Houston Texas from wounds he suffered in Afganahstan. Schoonhoven used to live in Plainwell, Michigan.
