Clinton County Sheriffs Deputies say a 13-year-old girl is dead after being shot by her 14-year-old brother while handling a shotgun. Police say the accidental shooting happened Saturday afternoon in Ovid Township. Officials say the brother was handling a shotgun in their home when the firearm discharged, striking and killing the young girl.
