Police confirm that a 16-year-old girl was shot in the back Saturday night in Lansing shortly before 10 p.m.  The shooting happened on MLK between Oakland and Maple streets.  Police haven’t released the girl’s name and the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain are unclear. No arrests have been made.
