FLATHEAD COUNTY (WKZO) --The Post Mortem on the body of a 19-year-old from Hudsonville who disappeared in Glacier National Park last summer shows he died from drowning and hypothermia, and not from a traumatic fall.
Jakson Kreiser was hiking in a particularly treacherous part of the park when it’s now believed he may have slipped and fell into a rushing stream that would have had 36-degree water in it, cold enough to quickly incapacitate a human.
The Sheriff in Flathead County says there was none of the trauma on the body one would expect in a fall. Kreiser was working the summer at a lodge near the park.
