DETROIT (WKZO) -- Former City of Detroit lawyer Krystal Crittendon jump-started her bid for mayor on Thursday. The city's former top lawyer, who was ousted last month, told supporters that she's eager to tackle the city's problems and work on behalf of the residents whose needs have been ignored.
Crittendon told the crowd that Detroit does not need an emergency manager, instead the city needs to manage its emergency. She's expected to draw support from unions and critics of the city's consent agreement with the state.
