More than 40 people attended last night’s open meeting of Lansing’s Financial Health Team at Pattengill Academy. The team is expected to submit to Mayor Virg Berneo their recommendations by March 1 on how to fill a projected budget shortfall next year. Privatization of city services, selling city assets and rising pension and healthcare costs occupied much of the discussion.
