Strokes' Albert Hammond Jr. to Release New Solo EP, "AHJ", in October

Albert Hammond Jr. has decided to go solo again. The Strokes guitarist has just announced that he’ll be releasing a new EP this fall. Titled AHJ , the upcoming release includes five original songs, and features Hammond playing every instrument on the record with the exception of drums.

AHJ will be available at all the usual digital outlets on October 8. The EP will also be available on a limited-edition ten-inch vinyl record at select record stores.

Hammond’s last solo release, 2008’s ¿Cómo Te Llama? , peaked at #145 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
