DETROIT (WKZO) -- General Motors hourly workers have filed a lawsuit against Fidelity Investments alleging the financial firm stole millions of dollars from retirement accounts.

The legal action was filed in Boston on Thursday.  A copy of the suit was obtained by WDIV-TV which claims Fidelity kept the interest earned by the workers' money as it went through the banking process which is called "float income."

Fidelity claims their policy is legal.
