LANSING (WKZO) -- The state Senate has unanimously approved a bill to keep the state's blood alcohol content to be considered drunk while driving the same.  The senate has approved a measure to keep the level at 0.08-percent.

In 2003, the state lowered the level to 0.08-percent from 0.1-percent and if the Legislature hadn't acted, the level would have gone back up to point-one in October.  Alcohol blood content is used to determine if a driver is drunk.

The bill will now head to Governor Rick Snyder's desk for approval.
