CLINTON (WKZO) -- Eden Foods adds its name to the growing list of Michigan companies suing the Obama administration over birth control coverage required by the Affordable Care Act. The U. S. District Court will hear Eden's case on May 10th to determine whether the company's health care package will have to cover birth control for employees.
Eden Foods owner, Michael Potter, says the issue is causing more than legal trouble. He says that some customers are outraged by his decision to take legal action and are threatening to boycott.
Potter, who claims that the mandate violates his religious beliefs, says that a boycott could destroy his company.
