DETROIT (WKZO) -- General Motors chairman and CEO Dan Akerson has already made more public appearances this year than in all of 2012. Akerson is reportedly on a mission to spread the world about the automaker's post-bailout recovery.
Thursday, he participated in a 90-minute onstage interview at his alma-mater, the London School of Economics and Political Science. On April 24th Akerson is slated to be the keynote speaker at the Habitat for Humanity of Michigan's annual banquet.
Akerson made very few public appearances last year in an attempt to stay away from political mudslinging during the presidential election year.
