Baroness will be hitting the road for a North American tour next month. The announcement comes less than a week after frontman John Baizley posted a message on the band’s website to let fans know that bassist Matt Maggioni and drummer Allen Blickle left the group, due to complications from last August’s tour bus crash in the U.K.

“It’s hard to find the words to express how excited we are to announce this tour,” said guitarist Pete Adams in a statement. “Seven months ago, who knew when it would be or even if we could get back on the road. But here we are, picking right back up where we left off. A heartfelt thanks to everyone’s unconditional love and support for us through, let’s hope, the hardest time this band will ever see. We told you we’d be back so let’s do this thing!”

The trek kicks off on May 24 at Union Transfer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and will make stops in Baltimore, Dallas, Indianapolis and Pittsburgh, among other cities. Inter Arma , True Widow and Coliseum will support the band on select dates.
