A group of local political and business leaders held their first meeting on Thursday in Lansing looking for ways to improve the city’s financial performance.  The group is dubbed the Financial Health Team and it is lead by Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero and for mayor David Hollister.  Its goal is to recommend ways to help keep the capital city’s spending in check.
