A Michigan State University  student who last month claimed he was jumped by a group of MSU athletes has been charged with assault and battery and filing a false police report. 20-year-old Brandon Carmack of Saline is also charged with stalking his former girlfriend. The alleged assault happened on Aug 28 on West Grand River Ave. just north of the MSU campus.
