Midwest Communications, owner of four Lansing radio stations, has announced the purchase of six radio stations in Fargo, N.D. The transaction is pending FCC approval. Midwest Communications, headquartered in Wausau, Wisconsin, is a family-owned company that already owns 47 stations in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois and Indiana.
Midwest Communications owns WJXQ(FM), WVIC(FM), WQTX(FM) and WLMI(FM) in Lansing.
