The biological mother of Ricky Holland, the Williamston boy killed by his foster parents in 2006, was in court yesterday as Department of Human Service officials try to determine if Casey Caswell should retain custody of her sixth child or whether the child should be placed in foster care. An offer of adoption by a distant cousin is one option.
