LANSING (WKZO) -- After graduating the latest recruits of Michigan State Police troopers, the 124th Trooper Recruit School is now open.

State Police say they have 114 potential troopers taking part for a total of 22 weeks of training.  More than two-thousand potential candidates were recruited

The 123rd Trooper Recruit School graduated a class of 78 troopers on October 19th, bringing the number of state police troopers to 965 at 29 posts around the state.
