Rob Zombie fans can expect the singer to head for familiar territory on his upcoming fifth studio album. Zombie says he refined his songwriting process so the new album will sound more like his earlier work.
“Fans of my really old stuff will love it because there’s a certain aspect of it that’s very reminiscent of that,” Zombie tells the Toledo Free Press . “It’s hard to describe music to somebody if they haven’t heard it, but I feel like it’s the best of all of the things I’ve done. I’ve finally found a perfect match between the old stuff I did and the new stuff. That’s the way it sounds to me anyway.”
Zombie is currently trekking across North America with Marilyn Manson on their Twins of Evil Tour. Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson is supporting both bands on the outing, filling in for Korn frontman Jonathan Davis , who was forced to drop out of the tour due to “exhaustion.”
