LANSING (WKZO) -- Six deaths in the state are now confirmed in connection with a nation-wide fungal meningitis outbreak linked to injections of a tainted steroid. Several more Michigan residents have now filled suit against the Massachusetts-based compounding company that manufactured the steroid. These filings follow last week's class action suit filed on behalf of a Livingston County woman. There have now been 69 cases of the illness reported in the state.
