Blink-182 no longer has a record label. Guitarist Tom DeLonge took to his Facebook page on Tuesday to announce that the band has left Interscope Records, the label that released their latest album, Neighborhoods .

DeLonge writes, “Freedom!! Blink as of today, is now an independent Artist!!!!!”  DeLonge attached a picture of actor Mel Gibson in war paint from 1995 film Braveheart to the message.

In other Blink news, the band is expected to be recording an exclusive live performance for iTunes sometime this week.
