LANSING (WKZO) -- Governor Snyder wants voters to do more than vote down Proposal Six.  He wants them to tell everyone they know to do the same thing.  Proposal six calls for a constitutional amendment to require a vote before any new bridges a or tunnels can be built between Michigan and Canada.

The Governor has already inked a deal to build a second bridge across the Detroit River and says that, regardless of the outcome of next month's vote, that bridge will be built.  He says the New International Trade Crossing, paid for by Canada, would create approximately ten-thousand construction jobs as well as ease the traffic flow between the U.S. and Canada.  Proposal Six is backed by Matty Moroun, the owner of the Ambassador Bridge.
