DETROIT (WKZO) -- Retailers are optimistic about holiday sales. This week, the National Retail Federation predicted that sales over the holidays will increase by over four-percent. That means more cash flow for store owners and more job openings for the unemployed.
Meijer has already announced their plan to hire 12-thousand company-wide for the season. Kohl's, plans on hiring 18-hundred seasonal workers in the state and Toys R Us intends on hiring about 800 for the season.
