LANSING (WKZO) -- It's a record for the Michigan Lottery with roughly 770-million dollars in profits being given to the School Aid Fund. That money goes for K-12 education, and far surpasses the old record of 748.9-million dollars in 2007.
For each dollar of ticket sales, 32-cents goes to the School Aid Fund. In the fiscal year that closed September 30th, the Michigan Lottery set a record for sales at 2.41-billion dollars.
