Arson is to blame for the fire that tore thru downtown Byron in Shiawasee County. An entire downtown block was devastated in the Monday fire. Gone is a restaurant and hardware store. Police say a State Police dog trained to sniff out any flammable liquid that may be used to start a fire hit on the accelerant.
