EAST LANSING (WKZO) -- A Michigan State University professor had some kind of melt-down in the middle of a Calculus class last evening. He started yelling and acting strangely and then stripped off all his clothes and headed down a hallway.

That’s where he was confronted by Campus Police, who settled him down and took him to a hospital. He is reportedly undergoing psychiatric evaluation. Students identify him as Math Professor John David McCarthy.  

They say he has always been a little eccentric.  They aren't sure what set him off but they say he definitely "snappped", fightening them with a rant that went on for 15-minutes until police arrived.
