A busy night for mid-Michigan firefighters. First an East Lansing house fire around midnight at Coleman and West Roads. The house was destroyed. Earlier Thursday evening firefighters were unable to save a DeWitt business from a raging fire. The fire started just after 7 p.m. at the Clinton Home Center near Business 127 and Clark Road.  DeWitt Township fire chief Fred Koos says the building was destroyed.
