A long and lengthy meeting on Monday night of the East Lansing School Board culminated in a vote to close Red Cedar Elementary and reorganize some of the district’s other school buildings.  Red Cedar will now house only pre-school students and administrative offices. In addition, the district’s sixth graders will be moved to McDonald Middle School.
