VAN BUREN COUNTY (WKZO) -- A 36-year-old Lawrence man may not be so thankful for not putting his seat belt on after a routine traffic stop netted meth and meth making material in his truck.

Van Buren County deputies stopped Jason Wolfe Wednesday in Hartford just because he didn't have a seat belt on, and then allegedly discovered the meth and a laundry list of other charges outstanding.

He spent Thanksgiving in jail and will stay there until arraignment next week in Paw Paw and South Haven.

Investigators say Wolfe has a suspended license and four outstanding warrants for his arrest.
