EL PASO (WKZO) -- A suspected child molester wanted in Michigan could be hiding out in Texas.

The U.S. Marshals say Corey Deshawn Gaston has been on the run since before his February 2008 trial date.  He's accused of breaking into a home in Detroit back in June 2007, kidnapping a ten-year-old girl and then raping her in a nearby alley.

The truck driver was initially arrested in Georgia but fled after posting bond while awaiting trial in Michigan.  He could be living in El Paso or in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
