Meet the star of R.E.M. 's latest music video: Lindsay Lohan .

The clip, directed by fellow actor James Franco , features dark, blurry and distorted images of Los Angeles, including of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Roosevelt Hotel and the city's ever-present traffic.

Lindsay pops up two minutes and 20 seconds into the video, wearing a sexy black dress for a photo shoot.

Franco made the video as part of R.E.M.'s Collapse Into Now film project, which is transforming each song on the group's 2011 album of the same name into a short film.

Franco was assigned two songs to direct: "Blue" and "That Someone Is You."
