DETROIT (WKZO) -- Thousands of Michigan residents have signed a petition to secede from the United States.  In the wake of President Obama's re-election, a petition has been circulating asking the President's administration to peacefully grant Michigan a withdraw from the United States of America to create its own government.  So far, more than 18-thousand-signatures have been gathered.
