WASHINGTON (WKZO) -- Ford Motor Company CEO Alan Mulally is optimistic that Congress and the White House will reach a deal to avoid the "fiscal cliff" facing the country at the end of next month.
Mulally and others business leaders met with President Obama, Vice President Biden and Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner for over an hour, and the Ford chief said the White House is "committed to a solution." He would not discuss the details of what was talked about at the White House other than to say it was "very, very constructive."
