Blink-182 wants their fans to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy. The band has tapped artist and frequent collaborator, Acorn , to design a new t-shirt, the proceeds from which will go to support storm victims. The t-shirt features an image of the U.S. East Coast, along with the band’s rabbit mascot wearing a shirt that reads “East Coast Pride.”
“With the absolute devastation of on the East Coast from Hurricane Sandy, we are doing our crappy punk rock part,” the band wrote in the t-shirt’s description in their webstore . “This shirt was created to directly benefit affected areas, ALL PROCEEDS from sales go direct to the relief efforts of the RED CROSS . So please HELP US contribute the only way we know how to, by selling some t-shirts!!!”
In other Blink news, bassist Mark Hoppus has said that the band is actively working on new music for their next album and will "begin recording after our tour of Australia in February."
