LANSING, MI — Twenty-year-old Deshown Clark Jr. of Lansing has been found guilty by a jury of murder in the 2021 shooting death of 16-year-old Darrel Smith.
The victim was killed March 31st, 2021 and died at a hospital several hours after he was shot. Clark will be sentenced July 12th in Eaton County Circuit Court.
Smith was one of a record 36 homicides in Lansing in 2021.
