A Lansing casino appears to be a step closer to becoming reality after paperwork was signed yesterday to transfer the land where the casino would be built to the Sault St. Marie tribe of Chippewa Indians.  The tribe plans to take the property into trust but needs government approval to do that. Lansing Gov. Virg Bernero said he remains confident the government will ok that move to plans to move forward.
