There will be a special sendoff today for local members of the Michigan National Guard.  Five members of the Guard’s Operation Support Airlift based in Grand Ledge are being sent to Kuwait for a ten month deployment. At ten this morning friends and supporters will give them a send off from the guard hangers in Grand Ledge.  The soldiers will be providing support for transporting troops and cargo by air.
