A downtown Lansing casino is back in the news. Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero will join leaders from the Sault St. Marie Tribe for a news conference in what they call is a step forward in their plans. It’s not clear what exactly the news is only that supporters say it will be as step forward with plans to build a casino next to the Lansing Center near Cooley Stadium.  The news conference this morning is set for 11 a.m.
