DAYTON, TEXAS (WKZO) -- A former Southwest Michigan man is one of a number of people under investigation for child neglect and abuse after Child Protective services discovered a home in a suburb of Houston, Texas where 11 children and 10 adults were living. Reports claim some of the children were tied to their bed, and had never gotten medical treatment.
Neighbors say they are stunned children were living there. They say they had never seen one outdoors. Child Protective Services spokesperson Gwen Carter says a March date has been set for a custody hearing. The children are in foster care.
Mark March III, a former Branch County man with a long arrest record, including a criminal sexual conduct conviction is listed as the home owner.
