It's not yet known if Governor Snyder will sign legislation passed last week during the lame duck session which relaxes Michigan's gun laws. Lansing's MIRS News reports spokeswoman Sara Wurfel says Snyder will review the bill closely, adding the massacre at a Connecticut school on Friday is giving him "pause." The bills relax laws to the point where concealed weapons would be allowed in places long-banned in Michigan like schools, bars, churches, daycare centers and stadiums. State Senator and former Eaton County Sheriff Rick Jones says no law could have prevented what happened at Sandy Hook Elementary.
