Bad news for The Killers fans: the band has canceled a few of their upcoming shows due to illness. According to a message on the band’s website, their gigs in Camden, New York City and Toronto have been removed from the schedule due to frontman Brandon Flowers “coming down with laryngitis.”

The band notes that fans are “encouraged to hold on to their tickets” for the canceled NYC and Toronto shows, which may be rescheduled. Ticket holders for the canceled shows can also get refunds at the point of purchase.

Last month, The Killers disappointed their fans in the U.K. after they prematurely ended their concert at the Manchester Arena because Flowers was experiencing vocal problems.

"I'm sorry, I've never had to do this before but we've gotta stop,” Flowers told the crowd. “I can't sing…I don't know what else to tell you. I'm sorry. I know it's frustrating for you and I'm sorry. I promise that we will come back." Fan-filmed footage of Flowers' apology to fans is posted on YouTube.  According to NME , the band had performed only four songs.

The Killers' next scheduled performance is on Monday at the Agganis Arena in Boston, MA.
