Former Tigers relief pitcher Mike Henneman returns to the organization as the new pitching coach of Detroit Class-A affiliate West Michigan Whitecaps,  Henneman was drafted by the Tigers in 1984 and made his major league debut for Detroit in 1987.  He was traded to the Houston Astros in 1995 and played for the Texas Rangers in 1996 before he retired.
