The Black Keys could be in the running for an Oscar at the next Academy Awards ceremony.

The band's song "Baddest Man Alive" from RZA 's kung-fu movie The Man with the Iron Fists is one of 75 tunes named to the Academy's shortlist of songs eligible in the Original Song category.

Also in the running are Mumford & Sons ' "Learn Me Right" from the animated movie Brave , Fiona Apple 's "Dull Tool" which appears in Judd Apatow 's This Is 40 and Karen O 's "Strange Love" from Tim Burton 's animated picture Frankenweenie.

Visit Oscar.org to check out all of the songs in the running to score a nod.  The five tunes that receive the most votes from voting members of the Academy's Music Branch will receive nominations.  The Oscar nominees will be announced January 10.
