DETROIT (WKZO) -- President Obama plans a visit to Detroit on Monday, as he continues to try to build support for his plan to avoid the fiscal cliff. If no deal is reached, steep spending cuts will take effect at the start of 2013 along with tax hikes with the expiration of the Bush-era tax cuts. Obama and House Speaker John Boehner remain at odds over the best way forward.
Details of the President's visit have yet to be announced.
