DETROIT (WKZO) -- A Michigan state representative has started a petition to recall Detroit Mayor Dave Bing from office.  State Representative John Olumba has questioned the mayor's decision making for the past several months.

In October, Olumba reportedly tried to get the Wayne County Election Commission to approve petition language to recall Bing but failed.  He tried again a few weeks later and was successful.

Olumba must get 43-thousand signatures to recall Mayor Bing.
