LANSING (WKZO) -- There is a chance some legislation could be coming to decriminalize marijuana in the state of Michigan.
MIRS News reports there is an email calling for legislation to be introduced from members of both parties, with one bill completely legalizing weed and the other legalizing having small amounts of the drug. The lawmakers looking into the move would take the expected failure to pass those bills and turn it into a ballot proposal.
Voters in Detroit, Grand Rapids, Flint, and Ypsilanti voted to decriminalize marijuana in November.
