LANSING, Mich (WLMI) A Lansing teen could learn today whether he spends the rest of his life in prison. The sentencing hearing for 15-year old Charles Lewis, Junior continues this morning—was convicted of 1st degree murder in the July 2010 shooting death of 19-year old Shayla Johnson. 6 others—including his father—are charged in the crime. An Ingham County judge could sentence the teen as an adult OR he could send him to a juvenile facility until he’s 21—at which point he would be re-evaluated.
