Cho's dad was overcome with emotion - because he moved the family to America when the Star Trek star was just six years old.

Describing the emotional experience, he says, ""It was great, there were a lot of Korean Americans of note...

""It was two presidents. The President of South Korea, where we (my father and I) were both born and now we're citizens of the United States, and we met both presidents (sic). So it was an honour, particularly for my dad, who, on a serious note, walked from North to South Korea when the war started there.

""(He was) starving, ate (tree) bark. So to go to the White House with his son was very, very special.""
