LANSING, Mich (WLMI) An apartment fire in Lansing leaves five people without a home. The blaze on Cherry Street began around 2 o’clock yesterday morning in a first-floor apartment. Crews had to rescue five people from the burning building—no one was injured. Investigators say careless smoking sparked the fire.
